Distilling the Complex Form

Everything we do and everything we make is done through incremental steps. A water jug fills drop by drop. A 10-mile walk is completed by repeating a single step.

This project will push you to explore methods of building complex objects with incremental multiple forms.

Whether on the wheel or with handbuilding techniques, you will create an object by repeating a single form over and over and joining them to create a complex form.

Your object must have at least 20 parts that are joined together to create a complete form. The forms may be thrown, handbuilt, or any combination of techniques.
