Finishing the surface

Fine tuning the shape of your object and smoothing, or rendering the texture of the surface is absolutely critical to finishing your object. When you finish creating the form, you are not finished. Glaze will not hide the bumps and imperfections in your forms. You need to fix those when the object is wet. The following videos show you how to do that. The tools you need are often a flexible rib and a shurform scraper, but have the rest of your tools handy just in case.
