This project is inspired by Project Runway and Tim Gunn‘s advice to, “Make it work!”.

For this project, you will be paired with one of your peers in the class. You will have 30 minutes to meet with each other and come up with a design for a collaborative piece. The two of you will present it to the class as if you were presenting it to Tim Gunn himself.

The final work must only be one object, but it can be made from component parts. You will each need to work on it, using your own unique backgrounds and skills to create a work that is unlike anything either of you have made before.

In the end, the most important thing is to work together to “Make it work!”
