Material Safety and Data Sheets (MSDS) are documents that explain any hazards of a material, how to properly handle it, and what safety precautions should be used in dealing with it.

In our studio, the MSDS sheets are located in a labeled binder in the glaze mixing room. Every material in the ceramics studio has a corresponding data sheet on it, so if you ever have any questions about the health risks of a given material, use that as your resource.
