In this project, you will create a series of works that are to be used in a ritual.

Think broadly about what the word “ritual” means.

For example, there are historical, contemporary, and cultural rituals, as well as the smaller daily rituals in life.

Ceramics has a unique lineage to all of these, so utilize the background and history of clay as a jumping off point for developing context with your work in this project.

Investigate the reasons why we attach such significance to ritual objects.
