Wedging clay

Wedging clay is the process of “kneading” the clay to improve it’s consistency and remove pockets of air. It looks easy, but it takes a little while to get used to it. As with everything in ceramics, just keep practicing and you’ll get the hang of it.

This is quick demonstration of two types of wedging.
