In this unit, you will give a 7 minute PowerPoint presentation to the class. Your presentation will critically review the work of one artist that you select on the website, Artaxis.org.

Include in your presentation the number of images you need to make your points without going over the time limit.

Make sure and PRACTICE your presentation several times before giving it to the class.

Things you may also wish to include are:

• Thoughts about your research on the artist’s writings or statements
• Your research on the writing of art critics in regards to the artist you are presenting
• Your own reactions to the work, direction of the work, style, conceptual focus, etc.
• Sources where a viewer could pursue more information (web addresses, book titles, etc)
