Good Morning everyone. And welcome to IUS Ceramics. I can assure you that this semester will be filled with some major awesomeness. Whether you’ve had some previous experience in clay or not, the next 17 weeks will be an adventure of epic proportions. During this time, there are going to be a few bumps in the road. Clay has a funny way of throwing a monkey wrench into our plans every once in awhile. The only thing I ask is that you work hard and keep your eyes on the prize and if you do that, I am sure you will be able to find IT in the clay. And if for whatever reason you don’t find IT – and at the end the semester you can look me in the eye and say that ceramics was NOT the life changing experience you thought it was going to be … I will give you a one dollar bill.

I guess the only question now is, “What’s your IT?”
See you in the studio,
